Hannah Bock ALLIED ASID

Hannah grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where her father is a homebuilder. No stranger to job sites, she was drawing floor plans from an early age. She initially studied Elementary Education at the University of Maryland where she received her undergraduate degree. She taught school-age children before earning her MFA, Interior Architecture, from George Washington University. While working towards her master’s degree, Hannah interned at BarnesVanze and joined the staff full-time after graduation in 2018. In her role at BVA, Hannah enjoys sourcing unique furniture and finishes for projects. Regarding her process, which usually starts with a morning workout, she acknowledges how social media has brought worldwide inspiration to her work and appreciates how inspiration can also come from unlikely places. Hannah was a finalist in the 2018 Bienenstock Furniture Library Design Competition.
