Miriam Dillon, ASID, ASSOCIATE AIA
ASSOCIATE
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Miriam credits her earliest observations of the beauty in the natural world and the built environment to her mother, who was an art historian and teacher. Miriam attended Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. (B. Arch), and became a licensed interior designer, honing both architectural and interior design skills early in her professional career. Hired in 2010 by BarnesVanze Architects to create and manage an interior design studio for the firm, she and her team provide sophisticated finishes, fixtures, and decoration on par and in harmony with BVA’s high-caliber architecture. Miriam also manages the firm’s interior renovations and has a knack for sourcing unique products, a process that has been completely transformed by the Internet. She enjoys working closely with her clients to learn about their vision and what excites them, which in turn makes her work extremely personal and rewarding.
