Nathan Brannon

Originally from North Carolina, Nathan joined the team at BVA with an appreciation for high-quality personalized design and the firm’s experience in historic preservation throughout the DMV. His interests in the built environment, sustainability, and creative problem-solving led him to a career in design, with experience in both the residential and commercial fields.
Nathan received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech with a minor in Landscape Architecture. While in school, he was honored as a Thesis Finalist for interrogating the American Front Porch, exploring the symbology of architecture, and strategies for equitable urban planning. Nathan values the importance of storytelling in architectural design and in highlighting regional design styles, which are skills that he brings to the team at BVA.
Outside the office, he enjoys exploring the natural scenery in and around the DMV, being active outdoors, and dining at the nearest Texas Roadhouse.
