Stan Khramov, Associate AIA

Growing up in Russia, Stan was inspired from a young age by Russian historic architecture as well as early Soviet Modernism that surrounded him. This led to his continued interest in design and architecture and graduating with the B. Arch. Degree, majoring in Residential and Commercial Architecture.

Since moving to Northern Virginia in 1998, he worked on various commercial and residential projects. Before joining the BVA team, he worked as an in-house architect for multiple residential design-build companies. This allowed him to sharpen his design skills and gain a more profound knowledge of the construction process.

He is passionate about collaborating with clients to bring the design vision to life and enjoys problem-solving and finding unique and creative solutions. Stan actively participates in the life of the local architectural community and enjoys providing critique to the interior design students at Marymount University.

Outside the office, Stan likes traveling and visiting small historic towns along the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River shores, searching for that special Victorian house for his next renovation project.
